Warranties
All Cedar Ridge Outdoor Product structures are guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 2 years. Please appreciate that natural characteristics of the materials such as knots, small cracks, sap, expansion and contraction of lumber due to moisture and temperature changes or minor grain traits are out of our control and are therefore not covered by warranty.
With just a little maintenance, paint whenever needed and control of vegetation growing around the edges, the products will last a lifetime.
I addition to Cedar Ridge Outdoor products’ comprehensive warranty there are a number of manufacturer warranties that apply as well.
Siding
Louisiana Pacific, the manufacturer of Canexel and Smart Panel, products warrants them as follows:
- Canexel: is warranted for a period of 30 years on the substrate (material) and 15 years on the finish when installed and maintained in accordance with specifications.
- Smart Panel: is warranted for a period of 15 years on the substrate and 7 years on the primed finish when installed and maintained in accordance with specifications.
Shingles
Cedar Ridge uses premium 25 year asphalt shingles from leading manufacturers.
